The Meeting

*PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST*

Today the birds are chirping and the sun's rays are warm. I wake up, stretch my arms and look outside. "Today will be a good day!" I think to myself.
A knock is heard at the door and daddy comes in, saying "Good morning" to me as he waves.
I too greet Daddy and I get up to go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face, get dressed. I go to the dinner table and Mummy greets me. I do the same as I sit down on a chair. For breakfast, there's waffles with syrup and green tea! I eat the heart-warming breakfast and tell Daddy that it was "Delicious!"
After Mummy and Daddy cleaned the plates, daddy tells me to put on my hoodie. With excitement and curiosity, I ask daddy, "Where are we going?"
Daddy giggles and answers, "We'll be going to a meeting with the gang!"
I remember Mummy and Daddy having to go to meetings and having me stay here to watch the house, but this time I get to go to one! I already feel pumped about it!
I think I remember some people from the gang, but I'm not sure if I know all of them... Th-there is Mummy and Daddy; Auntie Kido and Uncle Kano; Uncle Konoha; Uncle Shinshin; and I think that's it!
Holding onto both Mummy and Daddy's hands, we make our way to what they call the 'headquarters'. We pass through many roads and make it there. This will be fun!
Daddy knocks on the door and Auntie Kido opens the door, "Oh! It's Seto and Mary."
"You're pretty early," She tells Mummy and Daddy.
The two of them giggle and Auntie Kido pats me on the head with a smile, "Good morning Matthew."
I smile back and we walk in. We all sit down and Uncle Kano comes out of the guest room. "Hi!" He waves at us.
I also notice someone else coming out of the guest room. With her green hair, I see Anri come out as well. "Hi there!" She welcomes us as I blush a little.
The six of us sit and chat a while as we wait for some more members to come up. A knock is heard at the door and Uncle Shinshin enters with an orange haired girl behind. We all greet them and I look at the orange haired girl, wondering who she is. Our eyes meet and she gasps as she rushes towards me, "Is this the cute son, Matthew, you were talking about!?"
Everyone watches as I get my cheeks pinched by this girl Uncle Shinshin brought along. I try reacting, but the only reaction I can give off is a scared moan. Uncle Shinshin comes to pull her away and apologizes, "I'm sorry my sister had to be like this."
"A-ah no! I-it's okay!" I reply, still petrified of what happened just now.
She comes in for a handshake whilst introducing herself, "I'm Momo! Nice to meet you!"
I slowly and cautiously reach my hand out for the handshake and she rapidly moves my hand up and down. "N-nice to meet you too," I nervously laugh.
Everyone is seated and we wait for the last person. Auntie Kido queries, "Maybe we should set out some snacks."
Mummy springs up and stutters, "I-I-I-I-I'll go get some!"
I too spring up and stutter, "I-I-I-I-I'll help!"
We waddle to the kitchen as Anri follows us too. A sigh of relief comes out of our mouths as soon as we enter the kitchen. My body stiffs as soon as Anri states, "I'll help too!"
I blush as Mummy starts getting out some cups. I find tea bags and brew them into the teapot. Anri looks for some food for the others. As I pour hot water into the teapot, I hear some commotion outside. We finish preparing snacks for everyone and I go out with the tray of food as Anri goes out with the tray of tea. Mummy follows from behind, skipping with the joy of not having to carry a tray, in case she fell over. As I enter the living room, I stumble a little and end up tripping over. Someone quickly grabs hold of me, from the front, to prevent me from falling on the floor. Luckily the food is safe. If I had carried the tea, I would have spilt some and that would've been unforgivable. I look up to notice that Uncle Konoha has arrived, saving me too. I stand up normally and thank Konoha for saving me. He nods his head in reply.
I put down the food and notice another kid with brown hair and a light blue shirt. The boy stands up and I end up having to slightly look up at him. Anri is taller than me, and this boy as well. Looks like I'm the shortest one here...
"Oh, Matthew, this is Hibiya. Hibiya, this is Matthew," Anri points out.
"N-nice to meet you!" I sweat, lifting my hand forward.
He observes me for a moment before saying "Likewise" as he gives me a firm handshake. We sit down and Uncle Kano starts speaking, "The 9 of us are here, thus we can start the meeting!"
I look around and count the amount of people there are. It seems like everyone but me is a member, which would make sense as I never came here for a meeting before. If Anri is a member, I think I could become a member too!
And so the meeting finally begins as we sit in a circle with snacks in the middle. I am also seated next to Daddy and Anri.

What will the meeting be about? I'm already excited about finding out what they normally talk about! "So, apparently, Shintaro was on the social media website 'Tweeter' and did some browsing. He managed to find out some information from that concert," Uncle Kano starts as I take a sip of the green tea.
Uncle Shinshin gets his phone out and shows us a picture from this website. His phone is passed around in a circle and once it reached me, I managed to look at what it was about. "They say that we are being assigned to that company 'Shift' for some kind of shooting," Uncle Kano explains.
I remember hearing about them, I think they were an anime company of some kind. Auntie Momo raises her hand and asks, "So this means we're finally getting voices?"
Uncle Kano nods, "Yes, but the only question is who will be the cast for it."
We all think about it and wonder about what kind of voice actor/actress would suit us all. I am hapoy that 'naKa miAsu' and 'naKa naHawaza' are likely voice actresses for the series, I like them! But I still need to buy 'naKa naHazawa's original album... Uncle Shinshin apologizes as he looks at both me and Anri, "Sorry to break it to the kids, but you probably won't get voices."
I react, "Th-that's okay! A-and besides, w-we a-are...erm...wh-what was it..."
"Headcanon characters after all!" Anri finishes for me.
I blush and thank her for finding the word I was looking for.
Hibiya raises his hand for another question, "They were the ones that did that 'Magoka' and the whole 'Ohanashi' series, right?"
Uncle Kano nods his head as he crosses his arms, "They are famous for their head tilts aren't they?"
Uncle Kano tries doing the head tilt and it looks rather disturbing. Auntie Kido chops his neck and he's sent flying down as he chokes. "There are kids here!" She shouts.
Uncle Kano grabs the table as he gets up, sniggering "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Daddy wonders, "Do you think 'chiYasagu ruKao' will be casted in it?"
Uncle Kano answers, "She does a lot of dramas...but I don't think she would be asked for such a position. Someone in the cast may be like her though."
Daddy sighs as Mummy and I try comforting him.
Auntie Momo remembers something, "If they were the ones that made 'Magoka', do you think the outcome will be emotionally heartbreaking?"
We all take time to think of the horrors that will unfold as soon as the shooting starts. All I can think about is that scene with that witch 'Katerine'. I hope no one here will have a tragic death such as that... Auntie Kido tries diverting the horrific imagery by grabbing a bag and putting the contents onto the table, "H-here is the CDs that 'Nij' composed for this series. Here we have 'Mekameka City Nights', 'Mekameka City Roms', 'Teenage Roms', and this special 'Mekameka City Roleplayer' from a past 'Comiset'."
The designs are nice and the series seems interesting. As the meeting carries on, the contents are passed between us, going around in a circle. 'Mekameka City Roms' gets passed to me and to my surprise, I notice that 'Mekameka City Nights' is there too. It's a great way of saving space! I look through the booklets and absorb the information from there. I look closely at the picture of Azami and Tsukihiko. "Daddy, is this my grandmummy and granddaddy?" I curiously ask.
Daddy takes a closer look and Mummy looks too. They both nod and I look at the picture again, wondering what they are like. I pass the contents along and I recieve 'Mekameka City Roleplayer'. Now thinking about this 'Comiset', this event is a big one where people sell their own items to others. If I remember correctly, you can get some items from the Japanese 'Amajon' but it seems they don't do it internationally. Even so, I don't think I've ever seen 'Mekameka City Roleplayer' on 'Amajon'.
I flick through the booklet if this CD and notice Some concept ideas for some characters. I notice Auntie Kido in the booklet, but it seems like there's a person there I don't know about...
I pass the booklet along and the meeting disbands for a small break. I look at the food in the middle and notice the selection that Anri set out. But there's only one negima left. Uncle Kani also notices and asks who wants the last negima. I wonder for a moment and try blurting out, "I-I-I-I-I-I th-th-th-think Uncle K-K-K-Konoha would l-like it!"
After stuttering many times, I feel my soul come out through my mouth by trying to give an opinion. Uncle Konoha takes the negima and quietly comments, "Good kid."
I lay there for a while as Anri tries feeding biscuits to me. I put my headphones into my phone to listen to some music to calm me down. As I click on the application, I notice the phone lagging. The screen turns a bit static and I start to worry about whether I broke it or not. In a blink of the eye, I notice a blue girl sitting there, stretching her arms. "Hi there!" She greets.
I flinch and scream a little, raising the attention of everyone. My phone accidentally slips from my hand and Daddy barely catches it, asking what's wrong. He looks at the screen and sighs in relief, "I guess you've never met her before. She's called Ene and she's one of the members of this gang."
I look at her with a nervous smile and she smiles at me, "Nice to meet you!"
I say the same as she peeps through some of the files I have. I stare as she goes around, scavenging through everything. She returns with a folder in her hand and comments, "Looks like we have a little hipster here! These pictures of scenery from the camera album is evident enough!"
I quiver as she teases me, also commenting, "But the pictures you take look nice."
I blush a little as she puts some music on for me, flying somewhere else as she waves goodbye.
Now that I think about it, she must be the other character in that booklet. Although it didn't seem like her... If she's a member of the gang, I guess that means Anri isn't in it. Then again, we are headcanon characters after all.
I notice there's no more green tea and so I go to the kitchen to brew some more. As soon as I enter the kitchen, I am greeted by Hibiya, who is going through the fridge. I stare at him as he stares back. An awkward silence breaks in and to break the ice, I stutter, "H-H-H-Hibiya isn't it!?"
He nods as he continues searching through the fridge. I shuffle my way to the counter with the teapot and brew some more green tea. Hibiya wonders whether he's older or I'm older. We compare our birthdays and turns out Hibiya is older than me. "W-would it be okay if I call you Hibi-nii from now on?" I smile.
His face is shocked, but with it, a slight nod of acceptance. This way, I'm able to try and get to know him better without feeling awkward. "Could someone get me a soda!" I overhear Uncle Shinshin from outside.
I notice that Hibi-nii's hands are full and so I take responsibility of doing that order. I take a can of soda, as well as the green tea. The teapot is heavy, but I can handle the weight. I have to take the can as well and so I try it out. In the end, I end up waddling my way back. As soon as I enter, I notice everyone staring at me, slightly shocked by the way I'm waddling. I quiver and waddle my way to the table and put the teapot down. I give the soda to Uncle Shinshin as I suggest, "I-I think you sh-should drink less s-soda, i-it's not good for you a-all the time..."
He slowly nods as I fluster my way back to my chair, being comforted by Mummy and Daddy on the way.

The meeting comes back from the break and Uncle Kano asks, "Does anyone have any queries or problems that they've been dealing with lately?"
Everyone takes a moment to think through about such problems. I notice Uncle Konoha looking worried. Auntie Momo, being opposite him, also notices and asks Uncle Konoha if everything is okay. We all face him and he starts off, "I feel like I'm being stalked lately..."
We all gasp and Auntie Kido questions, "How often have you felt this way?"
Uncle Konoha faces down and answers, "Nearly all the time... I feel like I'm being stalked now..."
We all get up to go on the lookout for someone suspicious. We search every corner of the 'headquarters' and outside too. "Is that the stalker!?" Hibi-nii shouts.
We all assemble to where he is and I see a man with red hair, blue and white muffler, and holding a dried squid. "It's him again!" Auntie Kido roars, throwing a frying pan at him as he dodges.
"Be careful! It's the powerful illustrator 'Shedo'! For some reason he can-" Auntie Kido warns us, before magically changing clothes into a maid outfit all of a sudden.
She shrieks as I watch this 'Shedo' snigger in the background, along with Uncle Kano before being punched by Auntie Kido.
We all stare as he glares at us, thinking about his next move. Uncle Kano gets up in pain and changes too. But this time, dressed up in some kind of lion suit. He plays along by roaring at Auntie Kido and she punches him again. Mummy shouts, "Stop this at once!"
'Shedo' happily whistles and magically puts us all into different clothes as he waves his fingers around. I look to see that Uncle Shinshin is dressed in a big can of soda, Uncle Konoha in a big pudding costume, Auntie Momo in a cow costume, Hibi-nii in another maid outfit, Mummy in a bunny costume, and even turning Ene into some kind of magical girl. I blush at Anri in her kitty costume and notice that I'm wearing a massive teacup. But Daddy... He is half naked with some kind of butler looking attire with speedos. We all stare at Daddy and silence took place. I take my phone out and take a picture of Daddy for my "collection of sexy people".
We all scream and panic as 'Shedo' laughs. Someone else throws something at him and we all watch. Uncle Konoha blocks the sight for me and tells me to keep quiet. I listen in to the conversation. "Ah! What are you doing here, 'Woofmeowoink'!?"
"I should be asking you that, 'Shedo'!"
"I-I was just h-having some fun!"
I hear a loud smack and I notice that everyone changed back.
"Get back to your work! I hear that you have been procrastinating and you still have to finish some illustrations for 'Nij' and 'reNu'! Get back to work and finish those PVs!"
I the shouting become more distant and everyone sighs in relief. Uncle Konoha moves and I notice that Mummy and Daddy haven't changed clothes. Daddy is still...half naked. O-one picture should be enough unless... I take out my phone and take more pictures in case. Auntie Momo informs me, "If 'Woofmeowoink' found out about you, she may have kidnapped you."
I gasp and ask if it's that she doesn't approve of headcanon characters. Instead, it is because I am the headcanon son of her OTP. I become slightly shocked with the information, but I thank Uncle Konoha for saving me again. We a return as Mummy and Daddy go get changed.
As we wait for them, I try reaching for the teapot, at the other side of the table. I try reaching, but I'm not long enough. Anri goes to help me and I thank her as I blush a bit. Catching the attention of Uncle Kano, he glares at me, commenting, "60."
I blush in embarrassment as Anri giggles. Mummy and Daddy come back normal and we continue the last moments of the meeting. "Now that the stalker, 'Shedo', is gone, we can now finally go back to this meeting," Uncle Kano speaks.
Hibi-nii puts a question to the table, "Who here has met 'Nij'?"
I've seen many pictures of him before, but I wonder what he's like in person. Auntie Kido raises her hand as being the only one to have ever seen him before. We all show faces of amazement of having seen the creator of this series. She comments, "It's nothing special though. It seemed cool at first but he's just a normal person too. Although I did manage to get his autograph for these albums and got I leaked some information from him. I found out that K-Ka-K-"
She tries telling us something but it doesn't seem she can do so. Something's wrong and I don't know what. "Th-this must be the power of 'Nij'!" Mummy screams.
These people who partake in this series are dangerous and scary. If we were to ever meet them again, I think we'd end up suffering like today...
"Well, have you seen this yet?" Auntie Kido asks as she turns on the DVD player.
On the screen is the menu for 'Mekameka City Roms'. She clicks the last option and skips to where it says "Next Project". We closely watch the short presentation. Uncle Kano comments, "It's great to see that 'Nij' is planning on a new project, as ours will almost be finished. But after the shooting and whatnot will be done, what will happen to us...?"
We all sit in silence, frowning from the question. The atmosphere becomes gloomy as we wonder about what will be our fate. Auntie Momo tries to lighten the mood by saying, "L-let's all think about merchandise for the shooting! That way, we'll be able to make money!"
Everyone starts talking again and luckily the gloominess lifted. We all have ideas for what happens, like having character songs for each character, bonus CDs on DVDs, nendoroids, video games, shirts, many things. I suggested an idea of using art similar to 'Himawari Sketch' as the special scenes for the DVD because I love that anime.
Uncle Kano makes a comment, "But really, I think that they will make a good job out of this. That company Shaf-"
Auntie Kido chops Uncle Kano's neck, shouting, "DO YOU WANT THIS FANFICTION TO GET SOME KIND OF COPYRIGHT NOTICE OR SOMETHING!?"
The meeting freezes with shock in the attempts of trying to break the fourth wall.
In the end, we all end up talking to each other some more and one by one, we take our leave. Auntie Ene, in my phone, also tells me goodbye as she heads back to Uncle Shinshin's phone. The last to leave is Mummy, Daddy, and me.
"Did Matthew have a good time here?" Auntie Kido pats my head.
I happily nod, responding, "I did! And I hope to come back again for more meetings!"
I wave goodbye to Auntie Kido, Uncle Kano, and Anri as I watch Uncle Kano mouthing, "60."
Mummy, Daddy, and I make our way back home.
Today was fun and I properly got to meet everyone in the gang from this meeting. I really do wonder what the fate of this series will go like... But for now, I need to remember to put Daddy's pictures into my "collection of sexy people".
